MMMMMMMM i dream about these (really!) - you know, they dont sell pancake mix here and chocolate chips are hard to find. i went to a store that sells american food things and they had a 10 oz bag of nestle chocolate chips for 4.00 GBP which at the time was 8 us dollars! can you believe it! oy!
and remember that popcorn we used to make at your house? and cake batter? and your mothers devilled eggs? mmm
oh and i think we got about 8-10 inches in london (you asked on flickr). people were going nuts. i have never seen so many snowmen in my life! i guess it hasnt snowed like that here in 16 years. everything stopped, no busses, no one went to work. every school was closed across england! and no streets were cleaned - it was a little nutso. but magical, as snow always is, at the same time.
i was really missing colorado snow, but now that that wish has come true, i miss your chocolate chip pancakes.
so fuffin good. (im trying not to curse so much for bea's sake). you are going to have to make bea some soon. my parents want me to come to colorado at end of may for dads 60th, hopefully we can swing it! how cool would that be!

Its so funny how places are not at all prepared for snow...I mean it makes sense but EVERYTHING shutting down? Im glad you got your snow :)
