We went to Lincoln Nebraska last weekend with Matt's family to visit his older sister. It was her birthday on the 14th and his younger sister's was on the 9th. It was nice...the drive was long, and not very scenic. We brought Riley, that was her furthest trip east, and her first time in a hotel. (pretty exciting stuff)
Their downtown section is cute, we ate at several nice restaurants and went to an antique store. 
Earlier that trip his mom had given me a home improvement magazine, and in this one they mentioned how you could turn pretty much anything into a lamp...well I got this bright idea that why couldn't you take some cool old drinking glasses or vases and turn them into pendant lights. We found a couple of blue glasses, now we just have to see if we have the talent ;) We also found a pretty blue and white bowl (who knows if it is really an "antique", its just something we liked, and it looks good with chopped up tomatoes for salad in it)
