I have all the drawers painted, and Matt put the hardware on them Saturday. It's CRAZY how different things look. I cant wait until its all put together.

Matt and his dad worked hard all weekend putting together the new "island/peninsula". That is where the dishwasher will be, and we are moving the sink there too. Matt had a great idea...since we don't have much counter space, he thought it would be a good idea to build a little "cubby" type shelf for a microwave in the island. I love it!

Oh wow. Everything looks super awesome. Isn't it wonderful having a handy man in your life?
nice work guys! i know the whole process is painful but SO worth it when you are finally standing around in your finished kitchen with a glass of wine admiring your handiwork :)
