Going back 4 weeks

This was the picture I took Saturday January 12th...39 weeks (one more to go...so I thought)
Everything was normal that day, it was about 5 degrees, Matt was hunting with his dad, I made chicken tomatillo soup in the crock pot for dinner.  Kim and Mike came over that night and we watched that horrible show Ghost Adventures, or as we like to call it...Ghost Boner (that is a whole other story)  Matt and I went to bed, and an hour later I got up to use the bathroom...That's when it started.
My water broke at 11:15pm on Saturday before I had even started having contractions, that I was aware of anyway.  We called the doctor and because I am positive for group B strep they wanted me to go in because I needed at least 2 IV doses of antibiotics before delivery.  I ended up getting 7!  Problem was even though my water broke, I was not making any progress.  Later on Sunday, they decided to give me petocin which will make the contractions stronger (and much more painful) to hopefully get things going.  After a couple doses of that I decided that an epidural would be a good thing ;)  Everyone else was relieved too...we were about 16 hours in.  I think I ended up getting to about 8 or 10 of petocin (I don't remember)  Highest you can go is 20?  He was happy in there I guess ;)
About another 16 hours later and Noah Raymond was born!  After a total of 32 hours at the hospital, he was officially here at 7:03am Monday morning, he was 8 pounds even and 21 1/2 inches long.  The actual pushing part only took about an hour, the doctor said it could take a few...I guess I was done ;)  He is beautiful and happy (most of the time) and healthy!
Everyone was there waiting patiently for sooooo long!  Sleep deprived as well.  Matt was amazing, he was a great support, encouraging and understanding.  I really don't think I could have done it without him.  No, I know I couldn't have.
