I can't believe I forgot to tell everyone...After 10 1/2 years (yes years!!) I ended my tour of shoe slinging...Yes, no more Al Bundy jokes directed towards me! I am DONE! No more annoying customers who expect you to know exactly what they want by reading their minds...
no more old lady hammer toes, or disgusting old men yellow toe nails...(yes I had a gross job)
NO MORE SMELLY FEET!!!
I finally have weekends!!! I really have not had weekends to enjoy since my sophomore year of college, I could take some off here and there but it was always a hassle. Now I will work the occasional Saturday for the clinic, but that's it! Oh the joy!!!

Ten years! I can't believe it. How did you do it for so long? I am so happy it is over! It is like the end of an era.

Boo. No more shoe discounts...I will have to go back to buying my shoes from Wal-mart! But it will be nice that you can come to La Luz with us on Sun mornings :-)
