I go out into the garden every day in hopes that there will be something ripe and ready for me to eat...I'm pretty impatient. On Saturday I decided that I couldn't wait any longer and I picked the oddly shapen cucumber even if it was a little too soon and the one Anaheim chili that I have been eyeballing for a week now ;)
We then took a ride down to the Farmer's Market and picked up some tomatoes, jalapeno-cheddar bread, and fresh garlic. Whitney and Dann just happened to have bacon...imagine that;) And we had the best BLT's I have ever had! I love summer.
We didn't do anything with the Anaheim that day...Matty just sniffed it a lot and talked about the possibilities, then roasted it on Sunday.
