Last Cabining for the season

We went up to the cabin again for the last time before winter. The weather was beautiful! The gross miller moths were a plenty (yes I still hate them, and yes they still fly straight into my head, or my hair!! It makes me cringe!!)Riley had a great time, she found the biggest stick she could possibly carry and made everyone throw it for her! She is still crazy at 9 years! Im starting to see gray on her muzzle and that makes me sad :(

Last night the five of us went to dinner at the local restaurant down the hill from us, where they are supposed to have really good chicken fried steak. They were having their version of Octoberfest and a buffet so I could not test out the steak for myself :( There was a live band, they were "good". There was a cute little old cowboy that played the slide guitar...he made the band ;)We had to cut our trip short because when we got home little Noogie had a pretty big and deep cut on the upper part of his leg! It needed to be sutured up. Poor little guy, we have no idea what he hit it on.
