Thank you Good Friday :) We had a very nice and very needed 3 day weekend.
We actually did not do anymore to the kitchen except clean it, because we had both my parents and Matt's parents and little sister up here for Easter brunch.
We did however do some yard work. The northeast corner of our yard is kind of a mess. Nothing grows except weeds, and things like tree trimmings and junk just pile up there.
This will be the spot for our bread/pizza oven. Eventually we will be putting down pavers and making a nice eating and sitting area in front of the oven. (that's on the "long list") What we can do right now is prep the area around it...we are going to do tomatoes there this year. We dug out a couple trenches and Matt built a small "planter box" around one of them.
I can't wait to have our own tomatoes and other veggies again!!
It's totally well worth the digging and the sore back the next day, I'm getting old :(
